We are currently seeking an individual to fill the following position: Electronic Assembly Technician Job Description Our customers rely on our superior products, so a commitment to quality and customer service is required. Manufacturing electronic modules including PCBs, wiring, mechanical assembly and testing. Maintain necessary logs and records. Work in a small team environment with minimal supervision working independently and responsibly.
Requirements Employee is expected to have the following skills: The job requires being able to work with small hand tools including soldering irons, tweezers, crimp tools, screwdrivers and similar tools; and the use of power tools including drill press, saws, polishing machine, and measuring devices such as caliper and oscilloscope. Must have excellent eyesight with good hand-eye coordination, be detail oriented with excellent dexterity and concentration skills for meticulous assembly work. Familiar with mechanical assembly, soldering, testing, potting and be able to work looking through loop and/or magnifying glass assembling small parts. Ability to read/understand/interpret electronic schematics, engineering drawings, assembly blueprints, wiring diagrams, wire lists, and connector pin outs. Have good English verbal communication skills. Capable of reading, writing, and comprehending work instructions written in English. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time; and be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs and walk throughout facility. Can regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Perform general maintenance duties to provide a safe working environment at all times. Adhere to company specified work schedule and be consistently at work and on time. Perform other duties as may be assigned. A soldering, mechanical assembly and electrical measurement test will be given to determine if candidates meet our minimum requirements.
