The UW Alumni Association has an outstanding opportunity for a Data and Registration Coordinator.
The mission of the UW Alumni Association (UWAA) is to support the UW and higher education in the state of Washington. The Data and Registration Coordinator is an integral position to the office of Alumni & Constituent Relations (ACR), overseeing event registration for ACR, Regional Advancement, and numerous campus partners.
This position reports to the Manager, Digital Engagement Strategies, and independently performs a wide range of complex database management tasks as well overseeing the event registration capabilities of ACR. The position uses data from these events and marketing efforts to develop reports and decision-making tools in support of broad based engagement and Advancement initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the Alumni Relations, Advancement, events or events registration OR equivalent education/experience.
Previous experience in a development, fundraising or advancement setting.
Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft Access.
Strong writing, interpersonal skills and customer service. Poised, professional manner with the ability to express oneself clearly and empathetically in interactions with others in all forms of communications, verbal and written, one-on-one and group, etc. Ability to communicate in a direct and professional manner that engages dialog in a manner that resolves differences.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships and actively contributes as a member of working teams to achieve results.
Ability to work independently, problem solve, take initiative, set priorities and handle multiple projects efficiently and effectively. Takes responsibility and initiative to set and meet the goals, objectives and obligations while representing the mission, visions and values of the organization.
Demonstrated creativity, organizational ability, and strong attention to detail. Ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations, exercise good judgment based on information and analysis in a fast pace, dynamic, deadline drive environment in an organized and professional manner.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Knowledge of UW Advancement policies and procedures, including use of the development database software ADVANCE.
Familiarity with event registration software products, such as the CVENT, Blackbaud Luminate, Brown Paper Tickets, etc.
Basic understanding of SQL and fundamentals of relational database systems.
Familiarity with visualization products, such as Tableau.
