Executive Secretary/Executive DirectorThe Citrus County Community Charitable Foundation
The Citrus County Community Charitable Foundation (CCCCF) is seeking an executive secretary/executive director to manage the business of the charity. We seek an intelligent, mature individual who will be able to both manage the day-to-day business of the charity and go out into the community and work with charitable organizations. The director will work with the Grants Committee and assist in monitoring the progress of grantee programs, recording and reporting that progress and outcomes back to the Foundation Board. The executive director will reach out to the community to encourage requests for financial assistance and will assist with the proper preparation of grant requests. The executive director will assist in maintaining the Foundation website and will assure compliance with requirements for public records and publication of notices of meetings. The successful applicant will initially work from home and will need personal transportation to attend meetings and to meet with community charitable organizations. The position will grow to full time and be office based over the course of the next 12 months. However, at the outset the work requirement will be fewer than 30 hours weekly. The executive director's job performance will be evaluated annually by members of the Personnel Committee and reported to the Foundation Board with recommendations for continued employment, any corrective measures needed and consideration for any applicable bonuses resulting from outstanding accomplishments. The salary for the position, based initially on 30 hours per week, will be commensurate with the required responsibilities and will provide an option for earning bonuses. There will be no healthcare or pension benefits as part of the employment. A background check will be made of all applicants for the position. A successful applicant must be able to be bonded.
