ATTENDANT

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Kayak Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a passion for the outdoors and boating, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. If you love working by the water and helping customers have a great kayaking experience, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with kayak rentals, including fitting life jackets and providing safety instructions.
• Ensure all kayaks, paddles, and related equipment are in good condition and properly stored.
• Help customers launch and retrieve kayaks from the water.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kayak rental area.
• Provide information about local waterways and suggest routes for a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Handle transactions and manage rental bookings.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.
• Uphold all safety standards and guidelines to ensure a secure environment for all customers.

Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Enjoyment of outdoor activities and boating.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of kayaking and water safety is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.

Compensation:

• Starting salary of $13 per hour.
