Thrift Shoppe Coordinator

FULL TIME w/ BENEFITS

 

MUST BE:  Dependable & able to lift or move items up to 50 lbs

 

Will assist with Thrift Shoppe operations including receiving & evaluating merchandise, sales, cash management, customer service and supervision of volunteers.

Qualifications, Certifications, Licenses:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Two years retail sales or related experience
Computer skills to document cash sales, time, run reports and knowledge to create flyers, memorandums, emails.
Valid Florida driver's license
Reliable transportation
Valid automobile insurance
Safe driving record
Affidavit of Good Moral Character
Drug Screen

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist Manager with training and managing volunteers in the Thrift Shoppe.
Assist with volunteer assignments.
Oversee pricing of merchandise for accuracy.
Assist with preparation of sales promotion activities
Assist in sales activities, inventory control, cash reconciliation, record requirements and bank deposits.
Assist with displays.
Evaluate work areas for safety and report unsafe conditions.
Assist with displays, sorting and pricing as needed.
Assist with pickup and delivery of items as needed.
Assist with acquisition of supplies necessary for operation.
Understand the point of sale operation.
Maintain safety and security and report incidents as needed.
Document and report complaints and incidents to the Manager.
Attend required meetings.
Assist with preparation of the schedule.
Maintain a customer friendly environment.
Prepare and submit required paperwork and documentation of time.
Other duties as assigned.
