Calls prospective customers by operating telephone equipment, automatic dialing systems, and other telecommunications technologies. Influences customers to buy services and merchandise by following a prepared sales talk to give service and product information and price quotations. Completes orders by recording names, addresses, and purchases; referring orders for filling. Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures. Secures information by completing data base backups. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Additional Duties: Enters circulation draw and contractor information. Runs daily complaint reports and dispatches to re delivery agents. Assists the Customer Service Team Leader with administrative duties as required.

Ability to work in a well-structured, high stress, competitive environment. Knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation and spelling. Proper solving, analytical abilities and interpersonal skills required.
Minimum Requirements: Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Computer knowledge a must. Customer Service experience. Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customer. Business-Casual dress required for the office.
Physical Requirements: Ability to operate telephone and computer keyboard simultaneously. Ability to spend up to 4 hours on the phone per 8-hour day. Wrist movement and finger dexterity and twisting movements are required. Position requires sitting up to 6 hours per 8 hour shift. Squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching and twisting will be necessary on occasion. Climbing stairs are also required on occasion.
Environmental Conditions: Position is routinely exposed to glare (VDT) from computer display terminal 6 or more hours per day. Position is exposed to overhead fluorescent lighting and to ringing telephones continuously.
Administrative Information: This position reports to the Circulation Customer Service Manager. This position is a part time position.
