Driver 29 hours per week
Driver Responsibilities include: Delivers papers to weekly publications. Performs basic maintenance. Unloads preprints Responsible for all truck paperwork. Reads and understands bundle tops and truck manifests. Final candidate must undergo a drug screen, background check & motor vehicle check.
Citrus Publishing Inc. Packaging Department Skill Criteria Truck Driver
" Delivers printed products to off site drop zones.
" Distributes papers using the truck manifest.
" Distributes supplies to carriers.
" Efficiently feeds products to either the Rotary inserter or S/T.
" Catches and inspects finished product from the S/T.
" Safely operates pallet jack and moves products to their proper location.
" Efficiently hand stuffs products.
" Loads table for hand stuffing and removes finished product as needed.
" Inspects labeled products and keeps proper sortation.
" Performs basic housekeeping.
" Performs basic maintenance and does pre-trip inspection of vehicles.
" Sets up mail bags and properly tags them.
" Unloads preprints and processes paperwork.
" Responsible for all truck paperwork.
" Understands zoning processes keeping bins and skids properly labeled.
" Reads and understands bundle tops and truck manifests.
Qualifications:
" High School diploma or equivalent GED required.
" Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
" Must possess a valid Florida State Driver's License
Physical Requirements:
" Twisting bending and squatting movements.
" Hand and finger dexterity.
" Standing and or walking up to 8 hours.
" Lifting up to 50 lb and carrying up to 50 lbs.
" Pushing or pulling up to 1200 lbs.
" Driving for up to 8 hours.
Environmental conditions:
" Exposure to loud noises, dust and extreme temperatures are routine.
Administration information/supervision:
" This position reports to the shift leader.
