Bulldog 93.3 business developers are full time employees responsible for cultivating relationships with businesses in Clarke and Oconee Counties to ultimately maximize these business's monetary investment in the products and services that Bulldog 93.3 offers. Bulldog 93.3 offers Athens-area businesses and organizations increased local awareness and positive publicity primarily through the sale of on-air radio spots that are compliant with FCC regulations for non-commercial broadcast facilities. The business developer role is fast-paced and requires the employee's self-management in multiple areas of responsibility that must always be executed at a level of quality that exceeds the expectations of the station's sponsors and prospects while always professionally representing the Bulldog 93.3 brand.

Responsibilities:
The most important contribution of Bulldog 93.3 is to consistently generate revenue for the station through sales of the products and services that the station offers it's sponsors. Successful business developers are critical to the advancement of the station, and there is an expectation of exceptional personal responsibility and professionalism.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead generation using resources that are both self-generated and provided by management.
- Qualification and disqualification of leads based on a needs analysis.
- Meeting with prospects to determine which services best help accomplish his or her goals.
- Creating campaigns and presenting them to prospects once they are approved by station management.
- Closing sales by obtaining both a signed contract, and either (a) prepayment or (b) the correct automatic-payment details and authorization. (All campaigns are pre-billed)
- Maintaining active working relationships with sponsors for as long as possible, and re- converting former sponsors into active sponsors.
- Maintaining detailed notes on all communication with prospects and sponsors using the tools provided by Bulldog 93.3. Preparing reports to submit station management Actively participating in regular sales meetings.
Employment Requirements:
- Applicants must have a verifiable track record of generating significant revenue in outside sales positions throughout their career, as well as Excellent spoken and written communications skills
- A high level of organization and punctuality
- A strong ability to prospect, qualify, and close leads
- A high level of resilience in the face of rejection
- The skills to work both as a team and individually Proficiency with modern software and the ability to quickly utilize new software.
- Reliable transportation Positive verifiable references from employers and peers.
