MAINTENANCE MECHANIC AIDE
The Brockton Housing Authority will be accepting applications for the position of MAINTENANCE MECHANIC AIDE. This incumbent performs skilled work involving general maintenance and heavy and light manual labor by doing a variety of skilled tasks that do not require a journeyman’s license in any specific trade and to supervise one or more employees in the performance of various jobs as assigned. The starting hourly rate is $28.84 per hour. Interviews will be granted only to candidates who meet the minimum qualifications as described in the job description which can be found at www.brocktonhousingauthority.com. Finalists will be required to take both a written exam and a practical exam to demonstrate knowledge and skills. The results of these tests will be factored in the selection process. Candidates should have familiarity with and be able to use a personal computer.
